Hávamál, Odin’s wisdom to mankind

" The unwise man is awake all night,
and ponders everything over;
when morning comes he is weary in mind,
and all is a burden as ever. “

Would be fun to explain this so that’s what I’m going to do!
Norway (Explorers): Discovered Iceland, Greenland and America.Denmark (Looters): Thoose who mostly went to England, France etc. to raid and pillage.Sweden (Traders): Thoose who went and founded the Kievan Rus’ states, and went to Constantinople (Supermarket).German (Retarded Cousins): Same culture group, doesn’t really do much else than fight each else.Spain (People With Manners): The vikings were actually greeted quite well in the Iberian Peninsula.Switzerland, Austria, Italy (Sexually Repressed Freaks): We do probably all know the story about why the missionairy position is called what it is right?
Also! A side note, the vikings did really believe in Elves and Trolls and alot of people on Iceland still believe there’s elves living under the ground on their beloved home island.

This guy is the toughest pound for pound fighter I’ve ever seen. Stockton motherfucker!

My coach says sprint for 1 minute, I don’t stop for an extra 30 seconds. Within that 30 seconds a lot happens. My brain is screaming, “Stop! Stop! He said 1 minute you’re finished!” My legs are screaming “Help!” Even my lungs seem to have packed up and left. But for that 30 seconds your mind is reaching a new level of toughness. And the human mind is something we don’t train so often but it’s what separates the champions from fighters.

Celebrate your victories the first night then be your worst critic the next, because in the end, you always have room for improvement.

I am my own harshest critic. Always be improving

Some days you must learn a great deal. But you should also have days when you allow what is already in you to swell up and touch everything. If you never let that happen, then you just accumulate facts, and they begin to rattle around inside of you.

Never thought about it this way. Definitely a great perspective!

Don’t you dare, for one more second, surround yourself with people who are not aware of the greatness that you are.
